Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's the Time for Tina. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamour doll image she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
